hawaii rules so hard. it's weird that i'm almost 3000 miles from tokyo or LA, because it doesn't feel that way at all... globalization. mad japanese people everywhere. shave ice is insanely delicious and i'm OBSESSED with acai bowls and sticky rice. i love the rice at every meal situation... the other day for breakfast i ate a hamburger, eggs, and an insanely good biscuit (there was so lard in there). and rice. heaaaaaaven. we've been having a really good/chill time. my friend's friends (that's a mouthful) are so nice, even though i'm the haole girl visiting from the mainland, hahaha.
i'm excited to be back in LA in the fall... probably because i don't actually like NY that much for daily life. and i'm 3000 miles away from LA whether i'm here or in NY... the grass is always greener. yeah, cliches.
i really liked this store we went in, 88 tees. it was kind of a side store, haha, but on the waikiki touristy boardwalk area. there's a long staircase to walk up that's lined w/license plates and lots of (i thiiiink) japanese-brand tees inside. so tight.
